Northern Waste and Recycling Services of Corinth Maine is the proud sponsor of The Maine Highlands Triple Crown. A purse of $1000 is offered by Northern Waste and Recycling. The Maine Highlands Triple Crown awards points to sled dog racers that take part in sled dog races in E. Corinth, Newport and Dover- Foxcroft.

The first leg was held in E. Corinth on January 5 and 6, 2002. The Newport Sprint Races will be held on January 26 and 27, 2002 at the Big A Clubhouse, sponsored by the Sebasticook Valley Chamber of Commerce.

The top three racers in skijoring, four dog pro, six dog pro, and the unlimited class accumulate points toward the purse.
