DOVER-FOXCROFT - Ben Dever of Dover-Foxcroft began working Jan. 19 as the new group practice director of Mayo Practice Associates, a department of Mayo Regional Hospital that is responsible for the management of eight physician offices located in Corinna, Dexter, Dover-Foxcroft, Guilford and Milo. The group practice offices included under Mayo Practice Associates are Corinna Family Practice, Dexter Internal Medicine, Dover-Foxcroft Family Medicine, Guilford Medical Associates, Mayo Pediatrics, Mayo Surgical Associates, Mayo Women's Health and Milo Family Practice. All are owned and operated by Mayo Regional Hospital. "Ben brings a wealth of business and leadership accomplishments to this important position," said Mayo CEO Ralph Gabarro. "I am looking forward to Ben becoming an integral member of Mayo's leadership team." Dever has been teaching an advanced level finance and accounting class as an adjunct professor at the University of Maine since 2002. Prior to that position, he worked from 1984-2002 at Interface Fabrics Group in Guilford, serving for 10 years as the Vice President of Finance and Administration. His managerial responsibilities included finance, information technology, environmental affairs and human resources functions at Interface, a global supplier of textiles to the office furniture industry. Dever has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Ohio University, and completed the Executive Program at the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business Management. |
