BANGOR--The Penquis Community Action Program Resource Development Center is offering 30 hours of "Inclusive Child Care Curriculum" training. Classes will be held on Tuesdays, March 12, 19, 26 and April 2 from 6 to 9 pm and Saturdays, March 16, 23 and April 6 from 9 am to 3:30 pm in Penquis CAP's Conference Room #3 at 262 Harlow Street. This Maine Roads to Quality training covers topics to fully include and support all children and families in center-based or home settings. It uses an interdisiplinary approach to support staff, families and children, and emphasizes the beliefs, attitudes and values of inclusion. There is a $10 registration fee. Enrollment is limited. Call Eleanor at 941-2840, ext. 103 to register. Registration fees should be mailed to Penquis CAP RDC, 120 Cleveland Street, Bangor, by Wednesday, March 6. |
