This project helps in meeting the Maine Learning Results for physical education and also aligns with Healthy Maine Partnership goals of increasing physical activity opportunities for youth. This program aligns with the Maine Learning Results by providing students with the knowledge needed to be physically fit and take part in healthful physical activity.

Students will be able to develop motor skills and apply these skills to enhance their movements and physical performance. Students will have the opportunity to demonstrate responsible personal and social behaviors in a physical activity setting.
