DEXTER - Written and performed by students from the Dexter area, this FREE 90-minute theatrical performance is centered around the lives of seven teens dealing with tobacco issues in the late 90's. The audience follows them through the normal trials and tribulations of a teen's senior year and then fast-forwards to a night 10 years later. It is then that we learn about how their lives have unfolded since graduation. This production is sponsored through a grant from the American Legacy Foundation. The grant was co-written by Piscataquis Public Health Council and Healthy Maine Partnerships. There will be PRIZES and a question and answer session with the actors after the performance. Sunday, May 10th at 3pm at the Dexter Regional High School, and Wednesday, May 13th, 6:30pm at the Center Theatre in Dover-Foxcroft. |
