DEXTER - We are excited to report we had a great attendance for our Beginner/Intermediate Clinic held on May 19. We had several horses from surrounding towns join us for a day of hands-on experience from lunging, to grooming for a show, Western/English Equitation and ended the day with Beginner and Intermmediate Jumping. Special thanks to those who volunteered to help the exhibitors learn and improve their knowledge and riding skills. We at NCRC are holding our first Horse Show of the 2002 season on June 9, 2002. The show will be starting at 8:00am, RAIN or SHINE, on June 9 at Bud Ellms Field, Zions Hill Rd. in Dexter. Spectators and exhibitors are welcome to join us for our first 2002 show. We will be offering several age divisions. Classes will include Walk/Trot and Walk/Trot/Canter Divisions. Day End awards will be awarded in each age group. MEMBERS are also encouraged to register for locally sponsored, Year-End awards. Points will be accumulated throughout the season. This year NCRC has been fortunate enough to receive numerous sponsorships from local individuals and businesses. To show our appreciation NCRC has designed a 2002 club program to include all sponsorship ads and listings of those who generously donated to NCRC. Funds donated to NCRC will be designated towards all trophies, ribbons and year end awards. Programs will be delivered to all sponsors and remaining booklets will be available to all members, and the general public. Special thanks to all those involved in the completion and distribution of programs. We hope you all take a moment to enjoy some of the creativity, and many special listings. We are proud to announce we have received a two room, mobile unit to use for registrations this year. This building should make it much more convenient for registrations and show management. We are very appreciative for the opportunity to use this unit and hope you all enjoy it as well. Summer brings a July 21, 2002 RIBBON SHOW. August welcomes an ALL TROPHY SHOW with STAKES classes to include trophy, ribbon and money prizes. September 21, will be a group trail ride and November will include the year-end awards banquet. Banquet time and place TBA We would like to remind everyone, that NCRC goal is to welcome all horse enthusiasts to enjoy some FUN!!. You do not need to own a horse to share in the excitement and become part of the club. We always welcome new members, and volunteers to help with shows and special events.
