Maine Wheels holding meet during Wild West Weekend

DEXTER - Maine Wheels, the Maine Chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) has planned to have their August Meet in Dexter during the Dexter's Wild West Weekend. FMCA is an international organization for families who own and enjoy the recreational use of motor homes.

The 3rd Annual Wild West Weekend (www.WildWestWeekend.com), a town wide event is being held August 5th, 6th and 7th with events and sales planned from Friday through Sunday.

Maine Wheels spokesperson Tim Colbath said, "So far there are planning for anywhere between 25 to 40 motor homes of various sizes, from 20' to 45' to attend. The Motor homes will be parking at the old Swanton Farm, now owned by John Chappell, next to Bud Ellms Field." Colbath went on to say, " The Chapter is planning to attend the festivities of the Wild West activities, will begin arriving on Thursday, and will stay through the weekend."

Hosts for the Dexter Meet will be Tim & Vornie Colbath of Dover-Foxcroft, and Courtney & Jan Haggett of South Berwick.
