The camper site is next to bath house for hot showers. Restaurant on campgrounds serving lunch, dinner, and ice cream.

You will enjoy swimming, fishing, sun bathing, or just relaxing with a good book while you monitor campgrounds.

The Dexter Fish & Game Association recently signed a lease with the Town of Dexter to reopen the Lake Wassookeag Family Campground. There were licensed for 9 sites, but has been upgraded by the state for 22 sites, many with a fire ring & picnic table.

The bathhouse will be open for both campers and the people enjoying the public beach. The bathhouse has free hot showers available for campers.

Lake Shore Lunch Restaurant is on the premises serving lunch, dinner & ice cream. Campers will be within 1 mile of shopping, the golf course, kayak & canoe rentals as well as other area restaurants.

The Dexter Fish & Game Association does not condone the use of drugs or the abuse of alcohol. Alcohol is not permitted outside of your campsite. No dogs are allowed on the beach, keep dogs on a leash at all times. CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG. Any person who creates a nuisance or violates the rules WILL be asked to leave the campground. Anyone who causes damage to any property located at the beach area will be prosecuted. Please respect and enjoy what our town has to offer by taking care of it and not abusing the use of it. Not every town has a beautiful lake to enjoy with a free public beach, bathhouse, picnic area, playground, & boat launch.
