AUGUSTA - On Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15, you can fish for free on waterways throughout the state of Maine. Any person, except those whose license has been revoked or suspended, may fish on June 14 and 15 without a license. All other fishing regulations apply. The Free Fishing Days coincide with Father's Day Weekend each year. There also are two free fishing days in the winter that take place the Saturday and Sunday preceding Presidents Day. |
