DEXTER - This week on June 7, we had two Key Clubbers volunteer as coaches for the Special Olympics, in Orono, Callie Theodore and Jake Sherburne. It turned out to be a success. They left the middle school at 6:15 a.m. and didn't return until around 5:30. Also, on June 7, two Key Clubbers helped out at the Soap Box Derby in Bangor, James McDonald and Chelsea Crane. James helped lift cars onto the trailers which was a huge help and Chelsea worked with the Super Kids Division. On June 8, we had Key Clubbers ushering at the 2008 graduation. We showed people to their seats, and after we served refreshments. On June 9, is PTO Daycare at 6 a.m. at the primary school. On June 10, we have a regular meeting at 7:30. Upcoming events are on June 14, we have quite a few things to do. Some Key Clubbers will be going to Seeds of Peace to clean up for the summers opening, after they are going to the Camp Sunshine open house. Other Key Clubbers will be helping out with the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast. Callie Theodore will be attending the Camp CaPella open house also. On June 21, we will be holding a carwash to benefit Key Club International which will be held in Denver, Colorado.
