Wayside Theatre in North Dexter is rehearsing a new play for production this summer, a comedy by June Woodman, about a married couple who live in northern Maine and a married couple who live in New York City. They switch places and find that it isn’t easy to learn how to be the opposite of who you are. The play is ready to go, but we cannot find a man to play the NYC husband, in this thirties or early forties. No experience is needed; it is an easy role to play, and we desperately need someone to play it. Please contact June Woodman at 924-8813 if you are interested. We meet every Saturday at 1:00 pm at the theatre for a read-through, so you are welcome to join us. |
