DEXTER - The MSAD#46 Wellness Team recently attended this year's statewide wellness conference at Sugarloaf USA on June 27-July 1, 2004. The members that attended were Sue Killam, Ann Kondax, Cheryl Lynch, Robin Mayo, Barbara Prescott, and Carol Sherburne. Alan Smith the Dexter Middle School principal demonstrated his support by attending the administrative guest day on Wednesday, June 30. The purpose of this conference was to promote wellness. Attending teams created a wellness action plan for the 2004-2005 school year. Some possible activities for students and staff include: healthy snack days, a walk at school program, student health fair and wellness walks. Look for wellness tips on our website at www.msad46.org and in the school newsletters.
