The health fair is being held in conjunction with the Dover-Foxcroft Shiretown Homecoming weekend, in recognition of the 30th anniversary of Mayo Regional's opening in 1978. The event will be located in the Sebec and Borestone conference rooms in the Mayo Resource Center behind the hospital, and parking will be provided in the Dwelley Avenue lot.

Mayo's Heartwise program will provide blood sugar tests, blood pressure checks and weight/Body Mass Index measurements. Our WorkWise program will provide vision testing, and Cardiopulmonary Services will offer lung function testing. Mayo's Diabetes and Nutrition Center and the Piscataquis Public Health Council will have information displays. An ambulance from Mayo EMS will be on hand for tours.

There will be promotional giveaway items and healthy snacks for all attending.
