With the Dexter Shoe closing announcement last week, Dexter area residents thought it was just another blow to Dexter's economy. Barb mentioned that not only does Renys feel a loyalty to its Dexter area customers, but it is pleased that concerned customers have been sending numerous emails, phone calls and personal visits (I was one of those people) to see if the rumor was true.

TheDailyME.com is very happy to report that it is ONLY A RUMOR and but Renys will continue to be serving Dexter area customers for a long time. So if you see empty shelves at Renys, don't be worried Barb says. "We are only moving the Christmas stock in for the holidays".
