Michael Nokes, son of MSAD #46 teachers Eileen and Ted Nokes, has been recognized by the Commissioner of Education, Susan Gredron, as one of the Maine's top 50 performing students on the 2005 MEA's. The MEA's were administered to all Dexter Regional High School students in the spring of this year. Michael's achievement is based on the combined scores from the Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science and Technology subtests.
To celebrate this achievement Michael, his parents, a teacher, and the principal have been asked to join the Commissioner at a luncheon at the Augusta Civic Center on Monday, December 5th to honor all top 50 students. At this event all students will be personally recognized for their outstanding accomplishment.
