DEXTER - 16 Members of the Dexter Regional High School Student Council along with their Advisor Mrs. Kathy Grant, attended a "Heroes of Leadership" seminar at Penquis Valley High School in Milo, Maine on Wednesday, November 18th, 2009. Student Council members from the eastern region and as far away as Calais, attended the day long program. The Key note speaker was Mr. William Smith, Associate Dean of Multicultural Student Programs at Bowdoin College and Director of the Maine "Seeds of Peace". Dexter Regional High School student, Lauren Crane, daughter of Gary & Brenda Crane of Exeter Maine, was elected to be the high school representative for the Eastern Maine Association of Student Councils. (EMASC) Dexter Regional High School would like to congratulate Ms. Crane on her well deserved election, and also acknowledge their appreciation to Mrs. K. Grant and the Student Council members for their hard work and dedication to the high school! |
