DOVER-FOXCROFT - A cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) basic life support Heartsaver course will be offered Thursday, Jan. 3, from 6-9 p.m. in Suite 400 at the Medical Office Building on the Mayo Regional Hospital campus. The course is sponsored by Heartwise, Mayo's cardiac rehabilitation program, and is taught according to American Heart Association standards. The instructor will be Mel Thurlow, a paramedic with Mayo EMS. The registration fee is $25 for new trainees and $15 for recertifications. Books are not included in the course fee and may be purchased at the course for $5. To register, call Nina Pratt at Heartwise, 564-4207. |
